Nanotechnology for Rural Mali?

In November, Executive Director Scott Lacy represented African Sky and our Malian partners at an international summit on nanotechnology for the developing world. The conference, “Emerging Technologies/Emerging Economies: [Nano]Technology for Equitable Development” brought together world leaders in nanotech along with social scientists and grass-roots development experts to explore how emerging technologies might be applied to serve the interests of the poorest of the poor. Woodrow Wilson Center for International Scholars in Washington, D.C., and the sessions are now available via webcast.
