African Sky's Rita-Clare LeBlanc Wins National Award

On June 2, Nova Scotia High School student Rita-Clare LeBlanc was named to Canada's prestigious "Top 20 Under 20" list for 2011. LeBlanc received the award for her remarkable leadership of a local campaign to raise funds to build a rural elementary school in Mali with African Sky. She traveled to Toronto to receive her award, and then flew home to participate in a musical concert that raised an additional $2000 for a "music program" fund for the Malian school she and her friends are building with African Sky.
