Meet Colin, our first African Sky Graduate
Research Fellow!

African Sky is extremely fortunate to have the talents and enthusiasm of Colin Gerber for Spring 2011. Colin joins us from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health where he studies Community Health Education at the graduate level, with an Interdisciplinary Concentration in Global Health. Colin graduated summa cum laude from the University of Colorado at Boulder, with a degree in International Affairs, and a minor in French. He spent a semester of his undergraduate career studying rural empowerment abroad in Mali, speaks fluent French and dabbles in Bambara/Bamanankan bean jokes.
Colin’s work with African Sky focuses on analyzing program and peer evaluations, community needs assessments, and research into rural medical services to increase access for rural Malians. African Sky is thrilled to have Colin on board; please greet him at gerb0192@umn.edu!
